When it comes to my family and their safety I will do my research to make sure that I have the best products out there if I need them. And when you need them you want to have them! When I was in college I always carried around my mace. I never had to use it in college because I always was with a group of people but I had it just in case. Then I found out that I wasn’t even suppose to be carrying mace because it was against school policies or something. I didn’t really care because I would have used it anyways if I needed it.

The site Planet Mace is a great site and have things like the M18L, air tasers, stun guns…a great selection of self defence products. They even have personal alarms and pepper sprays as well as books and videos that will assist you in some self defense training. Although I think that everyone should have some sort of course in self defence. Their site has affordable prices as well. I also like their vehicle emergency kits too – they always come in handy even if you just need that occasional bandaid.

And when my children get a little older and are more independent like when they are in high school I want to make sure that they have what they need in case anything were to happen. And although they are little…the time just seems to go by just too quickly! Before you know it they will be going places without you and at least you have a little peace of mind knowing that they do have something to protect themselves if need be. You hope that they will never use it but at least they have it if they do. It is a terrible thing but you really have to have these products these days to feel safe.
