Personally, I just love grandfather clocks. My grandmother has one that I just have always loved and my parents have one and now my in laws just got one and I am so jealous! I want one too…they are just so incredibly pretty and are just such a nice addition to a room whether it is a living room or a dining room or the family room. There is something about a grandfathers clock that really dresses up a room.

I just love the ones that have the curio cabinet in them. It is like having two pieces of furniture in one! I like the Howard Miller Collection - the lighter colored oak ones….they are very elegant. I told my husband I really really REALLY wanted one so I am crossing my fingers for christmas I would put it in my living room for everyone too see and enjoy. It is a beautiful piece of furniture and you don’t just want to cheap out and get one at Walmart. I have seen them at Walmart and they are complete junk! I want one that is going to last and that is exquisitely made and designed. Something that I can be proud to show off!
