I was reading that some schools are going to do a 4 day week and make the days a little longer on the other days to cut expenses for gas for the school busses and for the heating of the school and electricity cost. I guess they will be saving 65,000 a year by just having no school on mondays – or in some cases it is every other monday they have a day off. That is actually a good idea. My kids will be having peanut butter and jelly that I will be making – I can not afford the school lunches especially for what they actually get!
