I love to get and to give really nice baby gifts. It is just an exciting time of a mother’s life and I think to get something really nice for them is just a nice gesture. And I think that a great gift is something custom made. For example there are just a ton of different things out there like custom leather baby shoes and other unique personalized baby gifts. The list could go on and on and they are very affordable. You do not have to spend a fortune on someone to get a really nice gift for their baby. And it is nice to get those newborn baby gifts`however remember….they grow up quick.

In my opinion the best gifts to get are the ones that will come in handy later or the ones that you can actually use for more than 2 or 3 months. You seem to always get a ton of newborn baby gifts and you never actually use all of them. I still have tags on at least 5 of my babies gifts because they were the wrong season and he could not fit in them. So be sure to get things for like 6-9 months…but figure out what season that will be in! Also throw in a book or two as a gift and get something for the mom. Someone got me a book that was so nice to have when I was in the hospital!
