When you are changing your baby you just automatically use those baby wipes…they may not be all that good and causing un-needed irritation for your baby’s bottom. If you baby just peed you really do not even need to use that baby wipe and be sure to use that barrier cream so that you don’t have to scrub off the poop from the bottom. My good friend can not use baby wipes because they cause such a rash for her baby. Filed under: Babies Health ![]() Comments: None |

If the doctor does not give you antibiotics when your child is sick then don’t push it. Sometime the antibiotics only mask the problem and treat the symptoms. When all the while having those annoying symptoms like that runny nose can actually help make your sickness and illness go away quicker. I personally do not like to give my children antibiotics if I don’t have to. I think that it strengthens their immune system if they can get over that little cold on their own with some healthy foods. Filed under: Babies Health ![]() Comments: None |

More parents and people should be aware of the huge benefits of preserving your babies cord blood. The controversial side to me doesn’t make much sense – you don’t hurt the baby nor the mother because it is a 5 minute thing that is done after the baby is born. There is a New site about stem cell research that I think parents to be should check out because it will well be in their best interest. They have a great Stem Cell FAQs page that answers many questions that you may have. I personally found the sit to be very user friendly and well organized and I thought that they gave a lot of great information especially if you don’t know all that much about it. I did my research when I was pregnant and I am very glad I did. I only hope that the stem cell research gets better funded because the possibilities that it holds to help cure and treat diseases is amazing. Read up more about it and see for yourself what it is all about. Filed under: Family Health and Babies Health ![]() Comments: None |

My doctor wanted to give my 2 year old the flu shot….I said no. And they pushed it but I know my daughter and I didn’t want them to give it to her. The flu shot contains thermisol and it turns out that all the flu vaccines were the wrong ones last year – I would have given her something for absolutely nothing. Listen to what your doctor has to say but don’t let them bully you. Some doctors really talk down to you – stand your ground when it comes o your kids. My child had a blocked tear duct for the first 9 months of her life. The doctor never prescribed anything for it. I would just constantly wash it. It was always so goopy and when she woke up it was always stuck shut. I found that once I started putting breast milk on it really work. It seemed like when I started to do that that it cot better really quick because within a month it was completely gone and her eyes were find at that point. I think breast mild has a lot more healing properties than we think! Filed under: Babies Health ![]() Comments: None |
