My cousin just had a baby that was 3 months premature and the next 9 months are going to be really tough it seems becauset here are alot of problems that this little baby is going through. And she came out today saying that she wants more childre…she wants triplets! Is she crazy! She had complications during her pregancy that they predict will happen again. My 7th month old can grasp and hold items and he loves his baby cookie. He doesn’t have any teeth so he just sucks on it. But you have to watch your baby when they are eating that cookie because they really don’t understand the concept of chewing even if they don’t have teeth. I always sit with him to make sure that he doesn’t choke. It really scares me when he does even though it is nothing. Filed under: Babies Comments: None |

If you are a mom to be you have so many things to think about but the first month or so you may not realize you are pregnant and then you get sick for the next 3 months…by then you are 1/2 through your pregnancy so before you get too fat and uncomfortable you should go shopping for all that great stuff like crib bedding and an adorable moses basket that your baby just has to have when you are feeling good around the 5th and 6th month. At least those were my two good months. Everything before and after were not that great – either very sick or just so incredibly tired. If you are having that baby then you have to check out the Baby Box. I just really have come to like this site. They have very nice crib bedding and other baby furniture necessities. They have great site that has many products that you have to get when you are having that baby. It is just so much fun to go shopping for that baby. And this site has quality furniture. Here is one thing that I have learned…do not cheap out on the baby furniture. For my first baby I decided to just go to walmart because ti looked nice enough…6 months later I was out getting new stuff because this stuff fell apart. I love the new sounds that a baby makes. Not the crying…I find that quite annoying but the new cooing sounds a baby makes. And I love to look at the expressions on their face when they realize that they have just made a new sound or noise. They just seem so happy like that can do more than one thing. It is funny. What to get that couple that is having a new baby but at the same time is starting out on t heir own in their new place. Well, baby bedding has always been a great gift that I have given to people in the past that has always gone over big. If they have a registry or wish list you can get it off of there but if they don’t then you can get them really nice at the Baby Box. They have really nice baby items for both boys and girls and for baby that you don’t know what their gender is going to be. Online prices are great too. You can also get something practical for them like lighting for their home. Although gift cards and gift certificates are more practical in this area of gift giving because you don’t know w what their tastes will be or what kinds of set up they have in their home. Maybe you even need a high pressure sodium light – no matter what it is you need you can always be sure that you can find and get in online somewhere and some how. Here is a great site – Castingkits.com – this is where I got my kits for my daughters. They are so nice – I have them in my curio cabinet on the little plaque that comes with the hand and foot moldings and I also sent out for the engraved name plate with the names and date on it. I love these keepsakes. I almost couldn’t find it for my second child – I had searched and searched and finally found this site and though I would pass it along to others. When I had my first two babies I never really thought about storing the cord blood. There is tons of information out there about it and it was always in the magazines I was reading but I didn’t do it. When I had my son for some strange reason I thought about it and looked into it. Because I thought about it so much I had to get it because I would be kicking myself one day if I could have done this but didn’t. It doesn’t hurt the baby or the mother because it is done after the baby is born. I hope that I never have to use it but it is there if my children need it and cord blood has been known to be successful for over 70 different diseases and conditions. It is a bit pricey you would think but I think it is worth it and they have lots of specials that you can take advantage of as well. Cryo-Cell International has a lo of great information on their site you can read up on and check out their special offers. They have specialist’s there to help you out. When it comes to car seats it just can be a nightmare to find that great one that both you and your child will like. And there are just so many baby car seats and baby carriers to choose from these days. Some of them are so nice but they can be so expensive. I think that because a baby and a child has to be in it for so long that getting the better ones that are going to last are well worth getting. And then you have to make sure that they fit in your car if you have more than 2 children. Some of them are just too bulky to put side by side if you have 3 in car seats. Babythings2u is a great site to check out. They have great products and a great selection to choose from and their site is very user friendly so you will have no problems finding exactly it is that you are looking for. My infant is just getting too big too quickly and I have to get a new car seat. I have one but it is pink…if you are planning on having more than one child may I suggest that you get a neutral color that way you can use it for both genders and then you will save a little money.
