I just got some glitter glaze for my walls to give it a glittery shine effect. It really does not work. If you have light colored walls it doesn’t show at all! If you have dark…very dark walls then it looks ok. I got it from Benjamin Moore. Luckily I didn’t waste too much money. I was very disappointed though because I have not dark walls or accents – I did do my front door which is a dark purple. If you have a deep color though it does look lovely. When it comes to getting that baby furniture I personally am one to get it in a nice wood color. I love the whites and the pinks but I just prefer when it comes right down to it to get that nice oak crib and accessories to go with it. But when it comes to the room and curtains and decor I just love to have that nice theme in a specific color. That way if you have another baby you can use the same furniture but just change the room decor which is a lot easier to do. And Baby Box has great quality furniture that will last from year to year and can be passed down from child to child so you can do that and save money in the process in my opinion. I can not believe how many restaurant have closed down in the last month around here! I have been trying to do my marketing every two weeks and I have been doing a pretty good job actually. It elimates that terrible chore of going to the market. I just have to put some of the snacks away otherwise they would all be gone within the first 3 days! I just have to go out and get milk – nothing big and if I am out doing other things already I don’t have to make that special trip. And it is 4 hours of the week I don’t have to waste on marketing! In a few months my contract is up with my mobile phone company and I am looking for a good and new mobile phone deal. I am looking to save money on a better deal and I would just love to get a better phone! And I want to also make sure that I will get a phone that will actually work when I drive from here to there! Sometimes you just get insurance as a peace of mind. Something like mortgage insurance can just make you a little more at ease especially in today’s times..you just never know when you may need it. And mortgage protection insurance could be that thing that you need! NAA has this type of insurance…actually they have many types of insurance everything from life insurance to mortgage disability insurance. If you get insured or hurt and can not work the you can relax knowing that this type of insurance would help you out. And if something were to happen to you you can rest assure right now that your home would be paid for and your family would be taken care in that regard. When you have that family you just think of all of these things. I never thought of this but the day I found out I was having a baby I just though of a million things to do and so many things to get to make sure that they would be ok and to make sure that they are ok. I love the Renuzit Truescents. I got some to try out and I just loved it – it is in the room where I change all the diapers. But I have another room that smells bad! Actually I have 2 – the bathroom and the breezeway area. This area is a little bit of a cluttered mess so when it is hot and humid and smells a little bad. But this is also the place where all the shoes are and it kinda stinks especially when my husband puts his smelly sneakers out there. Anyways, I went to the market this morning and got an extra one so now I have one in the bathroom, the breezeway (where there is no breeze at all) and the diaper area. My home is smelling nice now. And for $10 for a kit and $5 for the refills it is worth it. And there are coupons too right on the site you can print up and use. My sister just got a new apartment and it is rather musty smelling I think I will be getting one of these to throw in the housewarming gift I was going to get her. I was pleasantly surprised because I really do not get these sort of things for my home but I am so glad that I tried this…I love it!

I just really do not like to go to the market. And it was pouring rain this morning when I went. There is nothing like getting the kids ready to go to get the groceries…just what they want to do. It takes 1/2 hour to get there and always around 2 hours to do the marketing and by the time I get home and then put everything away it is time for lunch and when all is done I have to think about what it is we are having for supper. When it comes to my family and their safety I will do my research to make sure that I have the best products out there if I need them. And when you need them you want to have them! When I was in college I always carried around my mace. I never had to use it in college because I always was with a group of people but I had it just in case. Then I found out that I wasn’t even suppose to be carrying mace because it was against school policies or something. I didn’t really care because I would have used it anyways if I needed it. The site Planet Mace is a great site and have things like the M18L, air tasers, stun guns…a great selection of self defence products. They even have personal alarms and pepper sprays as well as books and videos that will assist you in some self defense training. Although I think that everyone should have some sort of course in self defence. Their site has affordable prices as well. I also like their vehicle emergency kits too – they always come in handy even if you just need that occasional bandaid. And when my children get a little older and are more independent like when they are in high school I want to make sure that they have what they need in case anything were to happen. And although they are little…the time just seems to go by just too quickly! Before you know it they will be going places without you and at least you have a little peace of mind knowing that they do have something to protect themselves if need be. You hope that they will never use it but at least they have it if they do. It is a terrible thing but you really have to have these products these days to feel safe. If you are having that baby then you have to check out the Baby Box. I just really have come to like this site. They have very nice crib bedding and other baby furniture necessities. They have great site that has many products that you have to get when you are having that baby. It is just so much fun to go shopping for that baby. And this site has quality furniture. Here is one thing that I have learned…do not cheap out on the baby furniture. For my first baby I decided to just go to walmart because ti looked nice enough…6 months later I was out getting new stuff because this stuff fell apart. I just got TriScents and I love it. I have always seen it in the stores but I just never got it because I would always have to get something else. But the room that I change the diapers in was starting to smell. I clean it all the time but it is just so hot and humid that on those days the smell just lingers in the air and it is kinda gross. I love this product though and there are 2 different levels – high and low you can put it on depending on the size of the room and the strength you want the scent to have. I have mine on high I like how there is 3 different scents and they change every 45 minutes – that is cool. And it was a no brainer to set up and took all of 2 seconds. Just pop in the scents and plug it in. Then just wait for your room to smell very nice. You can get great coupons on this site for the Renuzit Triscents Starter kit too. And now that I got the starter kit the refills are just $4.99 and I have a $2 coupon so it is just 2.99 – I can spend that so that I will not pass out while I am changing my kids diapers. I can not wait until they come out with more scents..I am hoping for fruity scents so that I can put one in my kitchen

I think that area rugs look so nice in a dining room. If you have that hardwood floor then you have to check out the Abingdon Rung Outlet. They are a family owned retail store that are in Abingdon , VA. They have a great selection from brands like Nourison, Karastan and capel to just name a very few. In fact they were actually voted 2007 National Rug Retailer of the Year. If you need nice rugs then you have to check out this site because this site is very user friendly and well organized so you will have no problems finding what it is that you would like. My mother actually just did her kitchen redone and half of her kitchen is her dining area. She decided to get rid of her linoleum and put in laminate flooring and this is just really nice looking…really looks like hard wood flooring. So she put down an area rug under the table and it just looks so incredibly nice. I think that the decor you have in your home says a lot about a person. I think that home decor can say a lot about a person. When I was little I would go to my grandmothers house and sit in her little living room and just admire her grandfathers clock…I have always loved grandfather clocks. My grandmother has always told me that she wants to give it to me someday and it is just so beautiful I would absolutely love it! You can get really nice clocks at 1-800-4clocks. They have everything from lovely crystal mantle clocks to gorgeous Howard Miller grandfather clocks like the ones the the curio in the clock…I like them the best. My other grandmother is big into cuckoo clocks. I think that a home is not really a home with out having that really nice piece of decor that people can admire whether it is a nice painting or a beautiful clock…wall clocks, atomic clocks, grandmother clocks… I can not wait to get a grandfathers clock. I actually have been looking at them again because my sister just got one for her place and I am just so jealous! I like different ones too – the antique ones are nice the but the newer models in grandfather clocks are quite nice as well. The detail on the Howard Miller Filmour grandfathers clock is beautiful. I like the simple elegance of this clock and it would look nice in any place. But clocks are a matter of taste so you have to look through the huge selection to find one that fits you best.

So, my sister has been getting cold feet with regards to her upcoming wedding. She has already wanted to postpone it but then decided not to because she had everything all set like her dress, the hall, food, cake, the matching woman and mens wedding bands...You can get really nice mens rings online actually. Personally I told her that if she is having that many doubt that often then she should reconsider and forget about it all and do what she feels is right. The guy is nice enough but something is holding her back and she should figure that out before she does get married and then have children. They only have known each other for a little over a year which really is not that long of a time and it is not like they are living with each other…they are just dating. So my husband side of the family always has these huge reunions where his memere’s family lives in Vermont somewhere. I guess they do this every 10 years. 10 years ago he was in the Marines and we were just dating so we didn’t go but this summer they are having another one. I don’t think that he wants to go and personally, I will not know anyone because they are all relatives that live far away and only get together every 10 years…except for the older generations that go like his memere and his great aunts and so forth. Apparently they always get Custom T Shirts made up with their names on them and I guess last time they even got sweatshirts made up because it was going to be cold that weekend…it is a weekend event. I think that is a cool idea though having shirts made up to remember the reunion event and of course it is a picture of everyone from the reunion before so it is sentimental actually. And then they have one made up that you can order after this reuninion takes place. It is a nice idea. http://www.sonicshack.com is a great site to check out for this. What to get that couple that is having a new baby but at the same time is starting out on t heir own in their new place. Well, baby bedding has always been a great gift that I have given to people in the past that has always gone over big. If they have a registry or wish list you can get it off of there but if they don’t then you can get them really nice at the Baby Box. They have really nice baby items for both boys and girls and for baby that you don’t know what their gender is going to be. Online prices are great too. You can also get something practical for them like lighting for their home. Although gift cards and gift certificates are more practical in this area of gift giving because you don’t know w what their tastes will be or what kinds of set up they have in their home. Maybe you even need a high pressure sodium light – no matter what it is you need you can always be sure that you can find and get in online somewhere and some how.
