Eggs and Glue
Posted on 10.18.11 by The Mommy Blogger @

So it is 9 p.m. at night and you child comes up to you because the have a project hat i due the following day. Well for part of the project you need some glue to glue the paper to a bulletin board or another piece of paper. Of course because you need it you do not have any glue…don’t worry. If you have an egg you are going to separate the egg whites and that can be your glue substitute. It should hold the paper on what you need it glued too. Then go stock up on glue for the next project!

I am getting a little sick and tire of people talking about this stupid RTTT – every kids gets pretty much 33 cents a day for 4 years – big flipping deal.  All this is doing is taking the power out of the towns and cities and states and giving it all to the government.  It is a bribe and a horrible one at that!  People who opt into this are fools!!!

Teachers Expenses
Posted on 04.07.10 by The Mommy Blogger @

As a teacher I know how expensive the teacher supplies can be. And they really do add up so quickly. The state and school budgets give their teachers less and less money to spend for their classroom needs every year yet most of the teachers out there will spend a ton of money out of their own pockets all year round whether they are on bulletin board displays, stickers and other awards, pencils, educational toys, arts and crafts, rugs and other classroom necessities and other classroom decorations to just name a very few. Teachers do not get paid nearly what they should and sure there are teachers that are lazy and shouldn’t be there but that is like that in EVERY profession. Most teachers if they were to add it up at the end of the year will spend between $500-$1000 a year. I know my first 3 years of teaching I spent around $1000 a year…how many other professions spend money out of their own pockets for their jobs…not too many I would think. The internet makes things so much easier for teacher though because there are a lot of cheap and discounted supplies out there online today!

Program Information
Posted on 04.01.10 by The Mommy Blogger @

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of USC. All opinions are 100% mine.

An online degree is a great option especially if you have a job and family and just do not have any time to go to a college to take courses the old fashioned way. You can get program information right online for USC Rossier School of Education – this is a great school to look into if you are thinking about going into education and the teaching profession. Getting that Master of Arts in teaching is a great way to get that job and career that you have always wanted.

Getting the degree online there is flexible and convenient. Right now there are also great scholarships and tuition reimbursement programs as well. This is an accelerated program so that you can complete it in only a year! This school is randed 22nd in the US and 9th among the prive universities by the World Report and US news. This is a great opportunity to get that education in a way that will least affect your work and family life. I have taken online courses before and I absolutely prefer them over the traditional classes. When you have a full time job and you have children…who in the world has the extra time to go to classes not to mention that you save so much time and money driving and on gas!
