So it was just so windy this weekend that I just could not resist taking my oldest outside to fly a kite! It was very cold but we just bundled up. Here is the thing … if you have a kite that gets torn then you can just use transparent tape or plastic wrap - it temporarily with fix that kite for the afternoon or that time that you want to use it before you go out and buy another on. It is a great way to spend that quality time with your kids I think…So go and fly a kite!! Filed under: Parenting and Marriage and Super Household Tips Comments: None |

People are just so busy these days and things really do not slow down when you start that family…things tend to speed up. The key to having that good relationship with your children as well as your spouse is communication. But you need to make time for that….you have to make time for each other and you can go to your local book store to pick up that family guide book to help you out. Sometimes they have really great ideas and solutions to your problems that you may not have thought out. Family should always come first and that means setting priorities and time aside. It happens all of the time but you just can not get use to this…when the husband is upset - they whole world should just stop. if he is upset then everything goes wrong and everyone is affected. But I can never get upset. That is just not fair because sometimes I have every right to be upset….and he is not even upset about anyone..it is work. We always take the backseat to work. Times have changed and some things for the better and some for the worse. My grandfather forbid his children to talk at the table. This is not a good practice, in my opinion. I am sure he had his reasons, but I can’t think of any for myself or my family. Filed under: Parenting and Marriage Comments: None |
