I really wish my kids birthdays were in the spring of the summer because having them in the fall and so close to the holidays and winter really just stinks. There is too much to do all the time and too much to get for them. It is one week fter another of going places for parties and going out to get things…very overwhelming this time of year! Is it too much to ask for your husband to call you to let you know that he will not be coming home for dinner but rather going out with his buddy’s from work. I don’t really care one way or the other but when you call at 5:30 to let me know that….IT”S TOO LATE….your supper is either already made or is completely defrosted to make. I was in a wedding and for the bridesmaids gifts she decided to have all of us come really early so that we could get our make up professionally done. We were all pampers and our make up looked fabulous. And I can not put on make up for anything so I looked like a completely different person…it was great! And this bride looked amazing. She spent a fortune on her wedding and I think 3 years later is finally finishing up paying for it! Her husband to be at the time got her that something new to wear..personally I would have loved something like a diamond ankle bracelets but he got her her shoes…she is big into shoes. I would love to get anything diamond these days…my husband never gets me anything like that..ever! I have gotten jewelry online in the past and have had great luck if you go to the right sites like Lauren Klein.

Sometimes your little toddler does something they shouldn’t and you say no…but you have to stay strong no matter how cute you think that they are …. no means no and stick with it. Otherwise they will use it because they are a lot smarter than you give them credit for. And they will find your weakness and they will use it no matter how young they are. Stick to your decisions!
