So my daughter wanted to be a big girl and sit in the big girl chair. I asked her if she was a big girl and she said yes. Then I said – “well we should go to the potty then – what do you say?” She she said, “Happy Birthday”. Well, we were going to go to the zoo today but it is just so incredibly humid outside that it is not healthy. We are just sitting here with all the fans going chilling out. I just don’t like days like today. We had a nice day planned but it is just so oppressive outside you just can not breath and the air is just very stagnant so it is not moving at all. I really hop that it gets a little cooler. I don’t mind the heat but I can’t stand the humidity. Filed under: Personal Stories Comments: None |

The only thing about planning that vacation is the weather.. and you never know what it is going to be until that day. I swear I went into the wrong profession. I should have been a meteorologist because that is the only profession that you can be completely wrong every single day and you will still get paid really great money! I was on the phone with Verizon for 2 1/2 hours today. I finally said I don’t want their service for DSL anymore and then they were all of a sudden very nice and accomidating. I should have done that to begin with. I had no DSL service for like 3 weeks and they emailed me about some billing problem – which doesn’t make any sense because I pay by check at least 20 days before the bill is ever do and then they suspended my account because I didn’t reply…how can I reply if I have no service.
