Well…it happened. My daughter is potty training and I though she was in the bathroom trying to go to the bathroom but she was changing her poopy diaper…if she can change her own diaper … then it is time. She just turned 3 and I just need her to be fully trained now. So I am making ironically chocolate cream pie and she runs in screaming, “he is eating my poop” – I walk in the room and he has 2 fistfuls of poop looking like melted chocolate and he is about to put it in his mouth….he was too quick and I couldn’t stop him. What a disaster….what a day! Filed under: Personal Stories ![]() Comments: 1 Comment |

So my husband is home…I love it when he gets home early or goes in late or just takes that day out of work…in theory…. Filed under: Personal Stories ![]() Comments: None |

I love it when I see my children getting along. It just makes me feel so good and just makes things right even if they are going all wrong. There is something about seeing siblings playing and having fun together that is really nice. It definately makes me a happy camper for the day that is for sure. Because when they are fighting I am not happy and their fighting really rubs off on my overall mood! Filed under: Personal Stories and Parenting and Marriage ![]() Comments: None |

I use to love vanilla coke but not the kind that you can buy. I mean it was ok but I just loved going out to the ice cream pallors and ordering that vanilla coke. And now I just make it myself. All it is is vanilla syrup with cola. It is just so delicious and it just really brings back childhood memories. It is amazing what you senses do to your memory. The scent or something or the taste of something can really make you remember things. Filed under: Personal Stories ![]() Comments: 2 Comments |

My daughter is so independant…a little too independant because she thinks that she can do things that she just can not quite do yet like changing the dvd out of the dvd player. She tends to get it confused with the vcr – so I will have discs stuck in the vcr because she wants to do it herself but she just doesn’t know what she is doing yet. Same thing goes for when she wants to get her own milk out of the fridge – that was a messy day! Filed under: Personal Stories ![]() Comments: None |
