So last night I got hit with the flue – it was horrible. Only right now almost 24 hours laters do I feel a little better. The thing is that a mom doesn’t even have time to get sick. I had a fever and was getting sick and it was just horrible but I still had to take care of everything. I did get to take a 2 hour nap when my husband came home…I think that is why I finally feel better. Filed under: Personal Stories Comments: None |

So, my cousin’s baby who was 12 weeks pre mature is finally going home this week. She was 1 pound and now she is 6 pounds and is doing quite well…3 months later. It was a tought time though – touch and go most of the time. And she had many other little things that just went wrong. But the good thing was that she could always breathe on her own and she was very strong. We are all happy she is coming home healthy. Filed under: Babies and Personal Stories Comments: None |

Friendly’s Ice Cream Sucks! You go to a Friendly’s resturant and 9 times out of 10 you get ice cream that has ice chunks in it – it is gross and the ice cream is extremely over priced! Then you go into a store and you get the ice cream and it is usually freezer burned which is gross too. And the fudge in my fudge swirl was all goo at the bottom of the container – I couldn’t even eat it is was disgusting I usually never buy Friendlys….now I remember why! I think I didn’t get more than 20 minutes sleep straight last night. I am exhausted it was 4:30 and I was up I had given up and now it is like 9 am. and it feels like afternoon because I have been up so much. And I want to go to the market but my mom who I usually go with is visiting my cousin. Her baby is still in the hospital because she had her 12 weeks premature. My duaghter has this terrible habit of not undoing her jeans or pants to put them on….so we are waiting for the bus yet again and her jean are on backwards. We hear the bus and there is no way we are going to be able to turn them around in time. So what do I do..send her to school with her jeans on backwards or bring her to school. She could have changed them in the bathroom…but we decided to go in the house. I don’t want anyone laughing at her because of this. Have you ever had terrible news about your job that just totally depresses you. I am on maternity leave for a bit longer and I am hearing terrible things. I should be enjoying my time off not stressing over it. If I didn’t have a job and these worries I probably would look 10 years younger. I hate my job too. Why spend a lot when you can get them cheap. I was going to go and get the ones that have sayings like worlds best grandma but she would never use them because she would think she would lose them.|

Wow….what a gorgeous day for a wedding yesterday. We all thought it was going to rain earlier this week and we could not have asked for a nicer day that is for sure!! She really lucked out because it was an outside wedding which was really nice. I don’t really care for outdoor weddings though because I just hate the sun…it gives me just such a headache! Ever hear of texting? I frequently go on work at home sites to see what is out there… a lot of nothing and scams if you ask me. But sometimes you come up with legit stuff…unfortunately the legit stuff this time was not for me. There are sites that will pay for you to have cyber sex talks basically like phone sex but you’re writing it – so you don’t even need the voice – just the imagination. So I have a wedding coming up this weekend and I just can not wait. I have not been out with my husband in so long and it just isn’t right. I mean I think that people who are married need to go out and have a little fun sometimes. The kids are going because it is their aunt that is getting married but even still. So I am in the process of potty training my daughter…not going to well but she is only 2 so I am not worried or too concerned. But I am sitting there looking at her…just watching her and notice that she is clearly pooping in her pants but I didn’t say anything because I wanted to see what she would do.
