Super Household Tips For Moms!!

Business Loans
Posted on 04.30.08 by The Mommy Blogger @

So I am debating on whether or not to get a Business Loans. I am on maternity leave right now and I would just love to start my own business out of my house. I would like to put a little addition on so that I can also have like an office but I can stay home so my kids will not have to go to day care or have a babysitter while I go off an work. Is now the right time to do so with the economy the way it is though. Sure there is fast funding and excellent service and the process is very easy…I just have to think is this the right time for me….

Vindale Research
Posted on 02.06.08 by The Mommy Blogger @

I am always looking for work at home jobs. Here is one that I just signed up for called Vindale Research. You take online surveys and polls and when they are completed you get paid. And there is no membership fee…that is just so important to me. I will not pay to have someone pay me to take a survey. I have earned $7 so far but I just signed up a week ago. Seems good so far.

update: You have to put your credit card info in for almost all surveys to test them…turns out that this really stinks!

Creamaid Stinks!
Posted on 02.03.08 by The Mommy Blogger @

I am sorry but creamaid stinks. There have many been times where I would do the post and get nothing! So these people are getting 100’s of people to do posts for them and not selecting them so they don’t have to pay them. And I wrote to Creamaid about this for a post that I did and it took them 3 months to respond! Not very good customer service if you ask me. I wouldn’t bother with creamaid…you do the work and rarely get compensated for it!

Bruiser - what does that mean?
Posted on 01.13.08 by The Mommy Blogger @

What does that mean when someone calls you baby a bruiser? I asked my mom and she said that it meant that the baby was a big baby. Which is true…but it is just an expression that I have never heard before. I just found it a strange expression that caught me off guard.

Job Listings
Posted on 10.31.07 by The Mommy Blogger @

It is hard to look for those jobs that are going to give you the income you need, as well as the flexibility you need and not to mention something that you are qualified for and will like….or at least tolerate. There are so many job listing out there and many companies hiring but the key is to find that great source that can provide you with this information. Monster.ca is a great place to start. This site is very user friendly and well organized so that you can easily navigate through the site with no problem finding that position or job that you desire.

There are 100’s of great resources they offer such as hiring training, workplace advice and job aid documents - things that help the person posting the jobs and the people that are in search for finding that job. I love this site because you can post your resume so the companies and businesses can actually find you! My dad was unemployed for around 4 months and he found his new job through monster. This service has provided jobs for millions of people and it is just really such an easy tool to utilize. Forget going to places and mailing out the resumes…this is just so much easier, much more effective and successful.

Animals Out Of The Trash
Posted on 10.09.07 by The Mommy Blogger @

So it is garbage day and you really do not like garbage day because I end up always picking up garbage off of the ground and back in the cans because of the dogs or squirrels or raccoons…all the animals that apparently like my garbage. If this happens to you then you may just want to spray the lids on the inside and the outside with some ammonia diluted with a little water. This should keep those critters away as well as keeping your trash in your cans.

Home Candle Business
Posted on 10.09.07 by The Mommy Blogger @

I can not think of one Mom or person for that matter that has not dreamed of starting up their own business and being able to work from home! Not only would it give you financial freedom but all the flexibility to create your own hours which comes in very handy if you have children. Every Mom that works knows how difficult it is to juggle a job and the kids around and the cost of childcare these days is almost not worth working because you are basically working for your childcare in some cases!

A home candle business could just be the thing that can make all of your work at home dreams come true. Mia Bella Candles is that home candle business opportunity. They have the best quality gourmet products that are great for home parties, craft shows, fundraisers and makes for that great lucrative home business! Anna Laura Brown has been making money online with this business since 2005 and offers great advice being a success coach for others. You can go right to her site and request information to be sent to your email right away. I can not wait to get my information. I have tried many at home businesses and I am hopeful that this is the one that will work for me!!

Become a Massage Therapist
Posted on 10.06.07 by The Mommy Blogger @

If you want to work from home you have to find that thing that you do really well. I know someone that had an interest in being a massage therapist. She was a secretary in a dental office and she decided she wanted something different. She went to school to be a massage therapist so that she could be fully licenced. She took quite a few classes and she was always studying because it is a lot harder that you thin but the rewards, benefits and profits of owning your own masssage therapy business are completely and totally worth it. And everyone needs a good massage once in a while…take away the daily stresses of life!

She actually opened up her own business and it has been doing quite well for the past 5 years now…a very good decision on her part that is for sure! She sets her own hours, she does not have to pay rent because it is out of her own home and there are many tax advantages in owning your own business. Massage Geeks can help you out in getting started with your own massage therapy and bodywork business. This site also offers great tips and advice as well as great articles on different topics and categories regarding techniques, accessories and support.

Work From Home
Posted on 09.08.07 by The Mommy Blogger @

What working mother has not thought at least once about the possibilities of being able to Work from home. Save on day care and spend more time with your children! There are so many scams out there though you really have to do your research and not get taken. Here is a blog I cam across called Feve. The Rick Jerk also is an interested read to help you find that work at home job. There are scams all over the place and I have been a victim of a few myself. It is not fun to get your hopes up for them to be scattered by someone that takes you for a ride.

New Service
Posted on 07.31.07 by The Mommy Blogger @

Here is a new service for bloggers to make a little extra with their blogs. It is called Smorty, where you can get paid to blog!. It is a place where advertisers connect with bloggers and the bloggers are paid to write opinionated posts with links back to the advertisers sites. Blog advertising is definately a very popular and apparently very successful way for a company to get their site out there in in the public’s eyes without having those annoying popups or side ads that some people just may not see or feel like reading. If you would like to blog for money and perhaps pay your monthly electric bill then check out Smorty. I just recently came across this site and I am very excited about it. It was very easy to sign up for and the directions and the rules are very clearly stated on their very user friendly site. Personally, I would recommend this site – and it is nice to get a little extra doing something you like…especially when you have kids!

I Hate My Job
Posted on 04.23.07 by The Mommy Blogger @

Ever since I had my children I have gradually hated my job a little more each and every day. I can’t stand the rushing in the morning and the stress of the job and then coming home just so tired from working to do all the stuff that I couldn’t do like cleaning and cooking and I only work 3 1/2 days a week. At least I went to working part time. I have been searching for that home based Internet business that would just allow me to quit my job completely.

There is now a study manual that may help me in my search. It is a third edition training manual of 389 pages of information, a video series companion and a step by step course for people that are interested in working at home…that is me. And this site offers a free 37 minute video too! Check it out if you are also desperate to quit your job to stay at home and raise your own children. It really stinks to have to go to work knowing that someone else is raising your kids.
