Here are some ideas for when the telemarketer calls you…
*Make up your own language
*Cough violently in the phone
*Try to sell them something
*Ask them if they can smell bananas…
*Tell them a story
*Sing in the phone and see if you make the cut for American Idol
*Dial the phone and keep saying “It is not ringing”
*Copy everything that they say back to them
*Tell them to catch and pretend like you are throwing a ball to them
*Say that this is an emergency line…please state your emergency!

Static Clingage

Here is a trick my grand mother does so that she doesn’t get static clingage on her dress or skirt from her slip. All she does is put a safety pin at the bottom of her slip and she gets no static. There is something about that metal that defers the static electricity apparently. Whatever it is…it works!

Wasting Your Money

There are many times where I will go into a store and look at something that looks so nice and it is a must have little luxury that you would like to have. I personally never give into temptation and never get anything on the spot. My rule of thumb is that if I go home and think about it continuously wishing that I should have got it then maybe if I feel the same way the next day I will get it. But I always give myself 24 hours and usually I am glad I didn’t waste my money.

Forget the Costly Febreeze

Forget the Febreeze to keep your rugs and upholstery fresh. Here is a cost efficient and an effective way to keep everything smelling great! Take your favorite fabric softener and mix 1 cup to 4 cups of water in an ordinary empty spray bottle. You can buy the empty bottles for less than a $1 at some places. Just spray it on the stinky rugs or furniture and after it dries then vacuum it up. Your favorite scents will be in the air!

Tip for Getting Scuff Marks Off Your Sneakers

If you have sneakers that are leather or basically anything other than a clothlike material - then the quickest and easiest way to get rid of those scuff marks to make you sneakers look a little better to last a little longer is to put some nail polish remover on a cotton ball and rub it off. The scuffs just seem to disappear!
