So, I am cleaning today – I can not stand the clutter and I have just had it. So what I do is I put things in a garbage bag that I think my kids really don’t play with – I have 2 garbage bags full. And these are still really nice and working toys. I will put them in storage until Christmas – if they don’t miss them then they will go to the salvation army. I have a bag up I put away back in January…they have not missed it so I am heading out to the salvation army this week. Filed under: Super Household Tips and Children Comments: None |

First of all I can not stress enough that you should always wash your vegetables! They are just loaded with pesticides that you do not want to be feeding your family and loved ones. Here is a great tip for that huge picnic you are throwing. If you are in charge of making all the salads and need to wash 6 or 7 heads of lettuce….put them in a pillow case and throw it in the washing machine – my mom did this once and it really cleaned them!! Every have that really pretty vase but there is always a stain at the bottom of it and your hands are too big to actually remove it. Here is a great tip for you. Drop 2 Alka-Seltzer tablets in it with warm water. And if you have jewelry that needs cleaning…do it at the same time…put it in there for 2 minutes. Remember when you were in school and at the end of the year you cleaned your desks with that shaving cream. Well you can use foaming shaving cream to help remember other things like red-wine spills on your carpets. And it really works…just a little shaving cream and then you blot it up with a cloth – I was really suprised that it actually worked. Filed under: Super Household Tips Comments: None |
