So the dog or cat peed on the floor and now you have that urine spot and smell to clean up. Like you don’t have enough things to worry about and now you have to clean up that mess! No problem…Sop it up with a towel and then wash with a cloth with liquid dish detergent. Then dab the area with 1/2 vinegar 1/2 water solution. until it is semi-saturated. Then put towels on it to absorb it. Either fan it dry or let is dry completely and brush up the rug. Yet another reason to always have Vinegar in the cupboard! Forget the expensive vegetable washing spray. I couldn’t believe it…last week when I went to the market I was amazed to see that they were trying sell this stuff for $4.99! That is just crazy. And sure you may be getting rid of the pesticides…but what are you putting on it in its place? Here is a very cheap way to clean those pesticides off of your foods…just get some vinegar and water and put the mixture in a spray bottle spray it on and then just wash it off…so simple! I really do love baking soda – from using it as a toothpaste to cleaning with it to just using it as an air freshener to a carpet freshener. I have an open box in my freezer and fridge. If you want a nice fresh scent – then boil some cinnamon – it will freshen up your entire kitchen! Baking soda is great with vinegar to clean with also. Ever drop coffee all over the rug? In a hurry and trying to waking up while getting the kids ready for the day and trying to get yourself ready to go to work and you just spill it everywhere.
