Here is a great way to preserve your child’s amazing artwork. Sure they draw a million pictures for you it seems but every oncei n a while you get one that is just really special and you do not want it to get ruined. So just take a paper towel roll when you paper towels are all gone and roll it up and put it in there. This works for certificates and other piees of paper that you want ot make sure do not get ruined to. It is a lot cheaper than the other things on the market that basically do the same thing also! This happens to all of us - you go outside and it is pouring rain and you step in the huge puddle that you just didn’t see. Or perhaps you have to go outside to shovel that snow off your car and you come back in and your shoes are completely and totally drenched. Well, first you want to keep them in room temperature but to speed up the drying process and also eliminate and possible damage crumple up some dry newspaper and stuff them in the shoes! They will dry in no time! Filed under: Super Household Tips Comments: None |

It is getting colder out there and you notice that you have a small tear in your screen. You really do not want to have to go out and get a new screen with it being fall and almost winter weather so for a temporary fix you can just aget a little super glue and clue it together - if the tear is dsmall enough noe one iwll ever even know. Or if you have to super glue - try a little clear nail polish - that should do the trick too! Filed under: Super Household Tips Comments: None |

I am a duct tape sort of fixer at least for the temporary fix. But that is one thing that I always have around - that and regular masking tape. For example duct tape is great for fixing hoses…vacuums, or washing machines. That is exactly what I just fixed my washing machine hose with this weekend because I just could not make it out to replace it. So it did the trick and I will be going out this afternoon to replace it but at least my wash didn’t pile up because I didn’t have the hose!! Filed under: Super Household Tips Comments: None |

Spring cleaning just really stinks. And just got started with this!! I found a ton of books too but they are so musty smelling. Ever have or find those great books but they just stink so bad! Here is something that you can do to get rid of that smell. Seal them in a box with cat litter. Of course you want to make sure that it is clean cat litter Filed under: Super Household Tips Comments: None |
