Ladies when you are washing the dishes you want to make sure that you have gloves on. the water will really do a number on your hands but not only your hand the water will also affect your nails. Too much water will make your nails crack and be very brittle. So you should be sure to protect you hands but just putting gloves on when you wash the dishes and pretty much clean anything. My husband uses a thermos for his soup for lunch during the day…which is fine but he never cleans it properly and it is gross. And I can not get my hand all the way in anymore because my hands are even fat! Here is a great tip to help clean your thermos. Just get 1/2 cup vinegar with 1/2 cup water then put some dry and uncooked rice in the thermos and just shake vigorously for around 3 minutes…this should help a lot Filed under: Super Household Tips Comments: 1 Comment |

Lately have been having a terrible fruit fly problem and it is actually getting quite annoying. So here is a tip that I am going to try that I have heard of. Just fill a spray bottle with rubbing alcohol and spray the flies – it knocks them out and you can ust sweep them up and throw them away. It is a lot more safe than having to spray pesticide all around you kitchen which is what I try to avoid all of the time. I just do not like household pesticides…they stink and you know that they are not safe for anyone to be breathing in! Filed under: Super Household Tips Comments: None |

I just hate to pump gas although I would rather pay less and pump my own gas than having to pay like 5 cents more a gallon to have someone else stand there and do it. But then your hands always end up smelling like gasoline and I just persoanlly hate that smell. So if you are worried about your hands smelling because you are going some place afterwards … like a resturant…then just put a baggy over your hand before you touch the nozzle. I can not stand it when you go to erase something with a normal pencil and the eraser is all weird and gross and actually instead of erasing what it is you need to have erased you get this big streak of black and it just creates quite the mess On the page. If you have a bad eraser like this just take a nail file or emery board and file the eraser down. That will fix the eraser’s problems and then you can properly erase the mess that you just created!
