Tip On Opening Jars
Posted on 01.14.12 by The Mommy Blogger @

Here is something that my grandfather does and told me. I can never open those pickle jars. And after a while you really cant because your hand hurts or it is all slippery and then you just can’t. Well, instead of not making what you were going to make here is a tip. Take a spoon and gently hit or rather tap on the edge of the lid all around the jars lid. Then you take you hand and hit the bottom of the jar. Now try to open it…it just pops off. I would say that this really has worked 95% of the time with me

Clean Up That Baby Spit Up!
Posted on 01.13.12 by The Mommy Blogger @

Baby spit up stains – I have so many stains to prove it too…on clothes and on carpets. If you get it while it is still fresh then the stink and the stain will be quickly gone. Clean up an particles or solid stuff from the spit up and then get a wet cloth dipped in baking soda and just dab it on the area and it should do the trick!

How To Cut The Cheese
Posted on 01.12.12 by The Mommy Blogger @

I am sorry…I could not resist entitling this post that :) Anyway, I don’t know about you but when I make very soft or sticky sort of cakes whenever I go to cut it it always sticks to the nice and you don’t get that nice cut of cake. Now if it is just for my family I don’t care been when you are making this for a party or for something else you want to make sure it looks as good is it is going to taste! Get some dental floss and hold both ends in either hands and pull it. Then just push it through the cake and you get a nice cut of cake. This is also great on cheeses if you don’t have a cheese cutter. Even if you do sometimes they just do not cut cheese neatly…the dental floss is sure to!
