So it is 9 p.m. at night and you child comes up to you because the have a project hat i due the following day. Well for part of the project you need some glue to glue the paper to a bulletin board or another piece of paper. Of course because you need it you do not have any glue…don’t worry. If you have an egg you are going to separate the egg whites and that can be your glue substitute. It should hold the paper on what you need it glued too. Then go stock up on glue for the next project! Filed under: Schooling/Education and Super Household Tips Comments: None |

Are they have that great 2 for 1 sale on eggs. If you are getting the medium sized eggs then you can freeze them. Get an ice cube tray and crack each egg in its own little cube. The next time that you have to go and bake that cake just pop them out! You can just defrost them in a zip lock bag if you have to. This is a great way to not have to throw away all those costly eggs that you go. What is the point of getting more eggs if you are just going to throw them away….instead of saving you will actually be losing money! Filed under: Super Household Tips Comments: None |

Lately have been having a terrible fruit fly problem and it is actually getting quite annoying. So here is a tip that I am going to try that I have heard of. Just fill a spray bottle with rubbing alcohol and spray the flies - it knocks them out and you can ust sweep them up and throw them away. It is a lot more safe than having to spray pesticide all around you kitchen which is what I try to avoid all of the time. I just do not like household pesticides…they stink and you know that they are not safe for anyone to be breathing in! Filed under: Super Household Tips Comments: None |

I am just so sick of spending a fortune on things that are basically toxic - sure they get things clean and whiter. However, they are just not healthy for the environment or our families. Here is the thing - I do not want spend a fortune on these so called “all natural” products especially when you can just get normal every day items. So I have been trying them and I will pass along the ones that I think actually worked the best. And here is one….forget the bleach. It is terrible for your skin besides lemon juice is so much cheaper! So, when you do your laundry instead of putting 1/4 cup of bleach in put 1/4 cup of lemon juice - and they smell so fresh!
