Super Household Tips For Moms!!

Freeze Your Washclothes
Posted on 02.14.10 by The Mommy Blogger @

Here is a great tip for you…freeze your washclothes so that when you need a cold cloth you do not have to wrap ice in something…that just leaves such a mess if you ask me. I always do this and I wend up with a puddle on my pillow if it is for my headaches. This way you have that frozen and very cold washcloth for your headache, burn or even tooth aches and pains that you may be having.

Remove Bumper Stickers
Posted on 02.08.10 by The Mommy Blogger @

Have you ever gotton then new used car with that horrible bumper sticker on the back…or you just have had a bumper sticker on your car forever and you don’t really know what you put it there in the first place anyways? Well, what ever the reason may be … if you want it off here is a way to get it off quick and easy. Rub mayonnaise over the entire sticker and leave it there for around 5 minutes. Really gob it on too. After 5 minutes wipe it off and the mayonnaise should have dissolved the glue of the sticker so that it should just come off very easily.

Vacuum With Your Favorite Scent
Posted on 02.05.10 by The Mommy Blogger @

If you have a favorite scent that you love then here is a way to make sure it is all over the house. And if you vacuum as much as I do then this is also the best and most perfect option for you :) Personally, my favorite scent is vanilla - I just love that fresh vanilla scent. I have vanilla oil but I could also use vanilla extract if I wanted too. You just drop it into your vacuum cleaner bag and when you vacuum the smell with permeate throughout the room. You can do this with any scent so for the holidays get some peppermint or for that romantic evening dip it in your favorite perfume.

Flying A Kite
Posted on 02.05.10 by The Mommy Blogger @

So it was just so windy this weekend that I just could not resist taking my oldest outside to fly a kite! It was very cold but we just bundled up. Here is the thing … if you have a kite that gets torn then you can just use transparent tape or plastic wrap - it temporarily with fix that kite for the afternoon or that time that you want to use it before you go out and buy another on.

It is a great way to spend that quality time with your kids I think…So go and fly a kite!!

Baby Wipes and Computers
Posted on 02.04.10 by The Mommy Blogger @

It is always a great idea to shake out your computer keyboard every once in a while.. especially if your kids play on the computer too. You will be amazed about how much dust and other unexpected things fall out of the keyboard when shaken lightly. Then just take a baby where to wipe down the keys and in between the keys - just make sure that the computer is off first of course. Vinegar also works well. Just wet a paper towel with a little water and vinegar to clean up. You can even dip a Q-Tip in the solution to clean in between the keys. Just be sure to squeeze it because you don’t want to get any liquid in there.
