My glasses are always losing screws – and of scourse I never have that correct tiny screw to fix it with. So here is a tip that will help you from losing those screws to begin with. Put a dab of super glue on the top of the screw and it will not get loose so you won’t lose it and then the lens won’t pop out of your glasses while you are driving Filed under: Super Household Tips Comments: None |

So, I was putting clothes away and cleaning up this weekend in the attic and it is a mess – and it isn’t a walk in attic so you can’t stand up besides. After an hour I did a pretty good job…but then I saw a moth flying around! First it startled me quick a bit but then I was more concerned about all the clothes that I have put up there. I had no moth balls however I did have newspapers. ALl my cloths are in bins so I just added a couple of pieces of newspaper in the bins and made sure I closed them tight. The newpapers will keep out the moths and also keep out dirt and dust! Filed under: Super Household Tips Comments: None |

First of all…if you use dryer sheets make sure that you clean the dryer out where the dust and other junk is collected it. You have to scrub that mesh screen with soap and water under the water runs through it clearly – this would prevent dryer fires. What to do with the drier sheets afterwards though – don’t throw them away!!! Use them to clean the TV and computer screens, clean your mini blinds with them, and wash your shower doors with them…it will get rid of your soap scum!! And this one I absolutely love – if you have a pot or pan that is disgusting and gross with grease – put the dryer sheet in the pot or pan and let is soak…a few hours later that grease and grim will come off like nothing! I actually did with with the pork chop pan yesterday and this morning it was a breeze to clean! Filed under: Super Household Tips Comments: None |

It is inevitable – if you have children then you will at one point or another have one or more crayon marks on the walls. Calm down, don’t worry it is not the end of the world. Remember it is only a wall so don’t get made because they are just kids. Just get your magic eraser and it will literally come off like magic. But if you don’t have one…no problem – just take some baking soda and a wet cloth and it will come off just as easy. Filed under: Super Household Tips Comments: None |
