Personally, I do not have find silver utensils but my grandmother does and she would sparkle them up for ever special occasion. She loves her silverware because it is real silver and it is 50 yeas old so it is the really nice kink. Not like the cheap stuff that they try to sell you today. If you don’t shine your silver regularly then it may tarnish. No problem….just dunk it in ketchup for 3 minutes and us e an old toothbrush to brush it up then just rinse it clean – this also great for jewelry too. How many times have you been to your kids baseball games or football games and you have to sit out there on the hard benches. If you happen to have some bubble wrap then this could solve your problem for the game. Just sit on that – it will actually give you that softer seat as well as not making the benches so cold. You could also purchase a cushion for the benches but you can use this in a pinch if you need a softer seat to sit on! Filed under: Super Household Tips ![]() Comments: None |

Here is a really cute way to make a really nice candle holder for your kitchen table. Just use and apple. Get an apple corer and carve a hole 3/4 of the way down and then just insert the decorative candle in the apple and then you can surround the apples with leaves, branches, flowers…what ever you wish but it sill make for a really nice centerpiece. I hate ironing…and quite frankly I just am the worst at it. Not matter how many times I iron my husbands shirts they still come out looking all wrinkled like I did not even do anything. So I basically feel like I waste my time ironing because he still looks all wrinkles and he doesn’t even think that I ironed them! Here is a tip that helped me a little bit but it could help others a lot if they already can iron really good. Try putting aluminum foil under the ironing board cover. It is suppose to refect the heat of the ironing back through the clothes thus getting the wrinkles out quicker. Filed under: Super Household Tips ![]() Comments: None |

I really love vinegar. I clean everything with vinegar and I just find it is so much cleaner – the windows the sinks and counters. And when my baby goes up to things and puts her mouth on it at least I know that it isn’t Lysol or Windex that it was cleaned with. I would recommend cleaning with vinegar to anyone and it is so much cheaper Filed under: Super Household Tips ![]() Comments: None |
