Baby Powder
Posted on 04.17.12 by The Mommy Blogger @

There are so many things you can use with baby powder…it is not just for a baby’s bottom :) It is great for when you are cleaning and have to put those rubber gloves on. There has been so many times where I could not put my hand in them for one reason or another but a quick layer of that baby powder in the gloves will allow you hand to go in with not problem…not to mention make your hands smell very nice as opposed to smelling like Lysol :)

Save That Artwork!
Posted on 04.17.12 by The Mommy Blogger @

My daughter just loves to draw and always has…that I just I think her thing. I like to keep them but I don’t want them to get ruined! Next time your kid comes home with an incredible artwork that you want to protect then spray it with hairspray – really great for art done with chalk because it helps it to not smudge when it is hanging on that refridgerator door for a month :)

Smelly Laundry
Posted on 04.15.12 by The Mommy Blogger @

If your husband works out or you have a people in your household that have smelly feet, gym day during school, or plays sports then their clothes are usually going to be full of sweat thus they are full of fungi and bacteria…some fungi that causes althlests foot, jock itch and ringworm to name a few. If you want to make sure that the fungus and bacteria comes out when you wash them in the washing maching then add some Listerine to your wash cycle – 1/2 a cup to 1 cup depending on the load.

The Ant Experiment
Posted on 04.06.12 by The Mommy Blogger @

I had once heard that ants will not cross a chalk link – so me and my daughter went outside last summer and we put a couple of potato chips on the drive way to attract the ants. We went back outside an hour later and sure enough there was ants. We put out a a fresh chip and got rid of the old one but we drew a circle in chalk around the chip. We came back out an hour later and there were no ants on the chip!! It was so funny! And a great experiment to try! I wonder if it would work if you had an ant problem in your house – hmmm…something to think about before bringing in the ant poisons in the house!!
